Lebanese actress Anne-Marie Salameh has revealed this week that she was “attacked and almost raped” this week by a man charged with the suspected killing a young woman in her neighborhood.
Speaking to a local entertainment news site, Salemeh said a man - reported to be a Syrian builder – scaled her building and entered her apartment after he allegedly killed the other woman.
He then assaulted her and attempted to rape and murder her, Salameh said, adding that her neck is still in pain from when he strangled her.
She managed to escape and her case in being reviewed by the relevant security authorities, she added.
