The MoU provides for exchanging expertise and organizing workshops that serve the upcoming reconstruction and re-production processes in Syria.
Another memo of understanding was also signed with Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters Construction company. The MoU stipulates for joint cooperation in building sector, services and developmental projects, training cadres, conducting researches and holding symposiums which contribute to meeting requirements of the upcoming stage and re-running the wheel of production and economy in Syria.
In a statement following the signature ceremony, Qattini underlined the importance of Syrian-Iranian cooperation in the field of building residential units, services and developmental facilities and benefiting from the Iranian expertise in sciences, new technologies, construction and development sectors.
Meeting members of the Syrian delegation, the Syrian Ambassador in Tehran Adnan Mahmoud underlined the importance of this visit in inspecting the Iranian experiences in cities and infrastructure construction.
He called for upgrading institutional cooperation between Syria and Iran, in addition to setting up integrated work plans, taking concrete steps towards establishing residential, urban and developmental projects and providing necessary facilitations to exchange expertise in investment sector.
