The island was rocked by a magnitude 4.8 earthquake this morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The earthquake happened at 9:44 a.m. Wednesday and was centered about 8 miles west-southwest of Rota , according to the USGS. It occurred at a depth of 71 miles, USGS states.
The earthquake comes about a month after the island was shaken by three earthquakes in August.
A magnitude 4.8 quake was recorded on Aug. 29, and a magnitude 5.2 quake rocked Guam on Aug. 30.
On Aug. 21, a 4.2 quake north of Guam shook the island.
Guam experienced a magnitude 5.2 earthquake on May 10, and a 5.5 magnitude earthquake on May 16.
A magnitude 4.6 quake was recorded on March 22, and a 5.5 quake on March 13.
There were no reports of damage or injuries from any of this year's earthquakes.
