MANILA -- A low pressure area (LPA) brings rains in most parts of the country on Monday, September 25, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
Pagasa said at 11:30 a.m., heavy rains with lightning and strong winds due to thunderstorms are affecting Ormoc City, Merida, Isabel, Palompon, Matag-ob, Villaba, Kananga in Leyte; La Libertad, Jimalalud, Tayasan, Ayungon in Negros Oriental; Isabela, Binalbagan in Negros Occidental; Pinabacdao, Villareal, Santa Rita, Talalora in Samar and nearby areas.
