President Rodrigo Duterte on Wednesday afternoon met with the parents of hazing victim Horacio “Atio” Castillo III.
Duterte, together with Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II and Volunteer Against Crime and Corruption (VACC) chair Dante Jimenez, welcomed Horacio Jr. and Carmina at Malacañang.
Castillo, a 22-year-old law freshman of the University of Santo Tomas, died after undergoing initiation rites of the Aegis Juris fraternity on September 17. He was laid to rest on September 27.
