U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers working at the A.B. Won Pat International Airport on Guam arrested two wanted men as soon as they arrived from two different countries recently, CBP announced yesterday.
A 41-year-old man wanted by the Superior Court of Guam on charges of family violence was arrested after he arrived on a flight from the Philippines on Sept. 19.
On Sept. 20, CBP officers identified a 36-year-old man who arrived on a flight from Palau. The subject was wanted by the Superior Court for an unresolved traffic offense.
CBP did not name either man.
The suspects were turned over to Guam Airport Police for further processing.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection and the Superior Court of Guam work collaboratively in identifying and apprehending individuals wanted by local law enforcement agencies.
