MANILA, Philippines – The Philippines gets more guns from China. The second batch of 3,000 rifles are handed over to the Armed Forces of the Philippines on Thursday, October 5.
China celebrates what it calls a "new era" of relationship with the Philippines, and commits to forge stronger defense cooperation with its neighbor.
The maritime dispute in the West Philippine Sea (South China Sea) remains a sticky issue, but both sides commit to overcome them.
